Camilla is self taught and after an initial basic training at the artistic high school, Camilla chooses to continue her studies at the Academia delle belle Arti di Brera. The tenacity that distinguishes her has allowed her to pursue her goal, that of dealing with fashion in a professional way, so she attends short courses and seminars in which she learns specific notions relating to design, marketing, tailoring. During her studies, she began to approach the world of work with internships in minor style offices, working as a dressmaker at fashion shows, and she was involved in the restyling of vintage clothes at Cavalli&Nastri in Milan. She produces her first collection, a mini capsule published in industry magazines such as Glamor, and in this period she participates in a reality TV show as an aspiring fashion designer intern at an industry label. The great opportunity that allowed her to feel part of the fashion world was the scholarship at the Montenapoleone 5 Luxury Academy, in which she was able to enroll in the two-year course of fashion stylist and fashion editor. Thanks to her background of experiences and after a first internship at the high fashion house Capucci, she is selected and becomes part of the Giorgio Armani style offices. The decision to undertake a path independently occurred with the maturation of the need to express a personal vision of fashion, so today she is a fashion designer who personally produces tailor-made collection clothes.

Camilla is a tailored, collection and tailor-made label, born from the passion for cutting and the tailoring of the dress where workmanship, finishes, hand-made details make it almost a collector's item, synthesis between the aesthetic form of fashion and the more properly intellectual one of art, so much so that several collections have been presented as happenings within galleries. Its creative freedom is expressed in the fusion of simple, rigorous and basic lines with details a surprises that give a touch of particularity without altering the balance and size of the whole. The uniqueness of each model, not mass-produced, is to allow for a personal experience and singular and also determines the choice of materials. At bre of natural origin like thirst, very fine cottons, wools she use also remnants of old fabrics, scraps and remnants of the seasons pastes combined in a harmonious whole of pleasant wisely balanced contrasts that they underline even more the character of non-reproducibility.

The evolution of CamillavCamilla takes place with an eye increasingly turned to contemporaneity

attentive to the surrounding world in which multiple aspects interface and dialogue: from one

part of the tailoring of its origins is reinterpreted in a more modern perspective that allows

to maintain the rigor of a construction technique and to create revisited in a modern key, lightening them; on the other hand, particular attention to sensitive issues that concern us closely, first of all

that of environmental protection. It is for this reason that starting from the S/S 2021 collection almost all of the textile materials used in the production of Camilla garments respond to

eco-sustainability and traceability criteria.

Last but not least, Camilla also remains open to transversal experiences by entering different areas

from that of fashion as happened for participation in the art review contemporary of the Venice Biennale; or collaborating with parallel realities to give life to

projects that bring a sure added value. Even the style is established with greater incisiveness reaching a mature phase in the language expressive, distinct in the features that characterise it making it absolutely recognizable: elegance, refinement, formal cleanliness combined with the presence of never invasive original details.

Camilla is a conscious choice that allows you to dress a product of culture, in which you are they recognize the ability to do, the beauty of the idea and attention to shared ethical values.

In 2020 she was selected and included in the NJAL platform, which brings together emerging talents.

New Renaissance

F/W 2020-21

"Like a New Renaissance, after this difficult period we must try to look forward towards a better future.

I have taken my inspiration from the golden age of the Renaissance with its great artists, and fashion with its characteristics “gorgiere”, plated collars that give both a sense of greatness and also lightness like a breath of wind. I use recycled materials from past collections that are visible in different shades and models that mix and match together.
This is an handmade collection with alla unique pieces."

Joyful

S/S 2021

"After this terrible period, we must look to the future of joy and hope. We must to seek joy and lightness.
This collection wants to celebrate the joy life, with light colours and fabrics (woven silk and jerse cotton) which are all eco-sustainable in respect of nature. Because we have to create a beautiful that is also a hug to the world. The pieces of collection are all unique handmade and tailor-made pieces."
